Dave graduated from Mars Hill Grad School in Seattle with a Masters degree in Counseling. He coauthored The Essential Bible Companion to the Psalms. He also co-authored various articles and book reviews on the topic of grief and lament. Dave also teaches in the Psychology department of a local University. He is currently developing curriculum for a Spiritual Formation Institute and writing a book on prayer. Cynthia is the founder and co-leader of "Breathe"-a local writers conference. She is a member of The Writers Guild of Grand Rapids, MI. She teaches writing at a local university. Cynthia is also a creativity coach for artists.
